Nick's Story of Hope
Nick Woughter, a former unhoused combat veteran, is just one of the thousands of people we have encountered this year whose life altered its course by just one simple act of kindness and connection by our amazing staff. Nick was honorably discharged from the military yet unable to find employment and going between living in a vehicle and in the woods.
“And I moved out to the woods… and then one day this guy pulled up and said ‘hey Katie Baxter sent me here, my name’s Dan."
